I take Standard English course at Intrax with Low Intermediate level.

I chose Intrax in Chicago mainly because my aunt lives here. I also love the city!

I think Chicago is beautiful, the nature, especially the lake, is amazing. The reason why I decided to come to America to study English is because In Brazil I study Law, with a major in International Contracts, therefore, English is crucial in my career. Also, English today, is the most important language in the world and any successful person should speak it!

When I came to USA, I barely spoke English and was in trouble of understanding other people.

But since I came to Intrax, where apart from having classes I communicate in English with my classmates during the breaks or after school, my English had a signi_cant improvement. Speaking English at home with my aunt and uncle helps a lot as well. I need more practice though.

My best friends are Bart from Poland and Yunus from Turkey. I have many acquaintances from other countries as well and enjoy the international class.

My professional goal is to get a job as a lawyer and later as a judge. In order to achieve my goals, I’ve been going to the University where I’ve been studying law for a few years. I also decided to study English in Intrax in order to be able to deal with international customers when being a lawyer.

My advice for future students is to be friendly and speak only English. Focus on the language , be open to other people and try to communicate as much as you can!
